Supporting the search for a CEO


The challenge

An international water, waste water and energy business was looking to appoint a CEO for the Australia and New Zealand business.

Despite using various local search partners for over seven months, no suitable candidates had been identified.

Our approach

Based on the seniority of the position, we put in place a strategic plan to map out the market and identify all major competitors that may have suitable candidates in each location.

We then put in place an outreach programme to source potential interested applications.

The difference we made

Having been instructed in October 2021, using our tried and tested approach, we were able to deliver a qualified shortlist of six candidates in just two weeks.

All applicants completed the first interview, with four then proceeding to the final stage. This then led to an offer being made to an exceptional candidate with the necessary seniority, category insight and experience.

Once we had been appointed, the entire process took just three months.
